Working on a project? Visit the Classic Vehicle Restoration Show
The Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show will take place on 3-4 November 2018 at The Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet.
From completely untouched barn finds to pristine concours examples, The Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show embraces anything and everything restoration. No matter how far through the project you are, how much budget you have, or your level of expertise, you’ll find what you need at the Royal Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet on November 3-4.
Without fail, the clubs at this event pull out all the stops to create a unique and entertaining display each and every year. The stands and all that goes with it are often home-made, showing that their creativity and skill goes even further beyond their knowledge of the incredible cars that they bring with them!

These incredible groups of people are what makes the classic car scene what it is today. A few of them have been attending our shows since the first ever show, almost 40 years ago, and we can’t thank them enough for their loyalty. Make sure you hand around for the awards ceremony at 4pm on the Sunday, where you’ll see the top three clubs pick up their cash prize awards.
The Exmoor Hall (the hall next to the Main Hall) is home to Charterhouse Auctioneers and Valuers for the weekend. The hall is open to all visitors on the Saturday for viewing free of charge, but if you fancy a look on the Sunday, or perhaps you’ve seen a lot you want to bid on, you’ll need to buy a catalogue from the Charterhouse staff before you go in. A catalogue gains entry for 2 adults, and cost just £10 each.
Often bringing as many as 100 lots with them to go under the hammer, there is guaranteed to be something to cater for all tastes, interests and budgets available. Look out for more information on the lots for sale in the run up to the show. A full list can be found on the Charterhouse website.
