2018 Cavalcade Classiche
Attending events with passionate like-minded enthusiasts is a real treat for petrolheads. No longer chained by the social taboo of talking about gear ratios in public, you can indulge in your love of cars. The Cavalcade Classiche is such an event for Ferrari owners where they can bring their treasured cars along for a tour.
Whatever floats your boat
For 2018 the event took place on the Italian island of Sardinia and attracted over 70 classic Ferraris. Because Sardinia is surrounded by water, each Ferrari had to board a ferry making for quite the picture.
Taking place between September 18th and 22nd, the Cavalcade explored beautiful Northern Sardinia.
The beautiful scenery was enhanced with these rare cars and their drivers of over 20 different nationalities.
Rain, rain, go away
Sadly, the weather didn’t stay sunny, but that didn’t prevent these vintage open-top cars from shining.
A game of bridge, Ferrari style
Some of Ferrari’s most iconic models were in attendance including; a 500 TRC, 340 America, 250 Europa, 750 Monza, a 250 California SWB, 288 GTO and this immaculate F40.
Follow the leader
A Ferrari 356 GTS/4 leads the way.
Road to nowhere
Sardinia’s winding coastal roads not only provide great scenery, but also plenty of driving enjoyment.
Time for a selfie?
Even if not considered a true Ferrari by some, the Dino was most welcome on the Cavalcade Classiche.
What a sight! Millions of pounds worth of classic Ferrari worked its way though the mountains. Oh, and a Fiat 500L.
All around the world
These cars have travelled from all over the world to take part in the 2018 Cavalcade Classiche. This Dino is from the UK.
If you go down to the woods today...
Can’t see the wood for the trees? Or the 288 GTO for the wood?
