Win your very own Jim Clark inspired Lotus Evora!
New Lotus sportscar commissioned to mark the anniversary of legend Jim Clark’s death can be yours in a competition launched to raise funds for the new Clark museum
The Jim Clark Trust has launched a competition to win a one-off Jim Clark special edition Lotus Evora GT410 Sport that was unveiled at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The special edition Lotus was commissioned to mark the 50th anniversary of the tragic death at Hockenheim in 1968 of twice-Formula 1 world champion and 1965 Indianapolis 500 winner Clark. All of Clark’s major racing successes were achieved behind the wheel of a Lotus.

The competition has been organised by the Jim Clark Trust – the official charity of this year’s Goodwood festival – to help raise funds to complete the upgraded Jim Clark Museum in Duns near where Clark grew up, as well as give enthusiasts an opportunity to own the landmark Lotus.
The car was hand-built at Lotus’s long-time Hethel home and it has been designated as the 100,000th Lotus sportscar built.
It was inspired by the red Lotus Elan entrusted to Clark by Lotus founder Colin Chapman, which Clark drove on the road in the 1960. It echoes the original car’s red and silver colour scheme, plus tartan upholstery. The car also carries Clark’s signature on each rear buttress.
It is powered by a specially calibrated and tuned higher-output version of Lotus’s supercharged, 3.5-litre 6-cylinder engine. It produces 410bhp at 7000rpm and sprints from 0-60mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Festival of Speed organsier His Grace the Duke of Richmond said, ‘The stunning Jim Clark special edition Evora is a fitting tribute to a legendary man and his iconic Elan. Clark’s exploits on track were very special indeed and we are proud to launch this competition here at Goodwood.’
You can enter the competition now on the Jim Clark Trust website.
