Silverstone Classic to host Supercar Legends

Famous classic car festival will see a special showcase of past and present icons on display at the venues prestigious International Paddock for major new attraction

The spectacular ‘Supercar Legends presented by Yokohama’ showcase, featuring models from Koenigsegg, Pagani and TVR among others, based right at the heart of the venue’s prestigious International Paddock will be open to the Silverstone Classics' 100,000 visitors throughout next month’s eagerly-anticipated three-day festival (July 20-22).

Models from a range of generations will be displayed, demonstrating the manufacturers decorated heritage. The display is sure to create a unique and cohesive feature of the revered Silverstone Classic.

What’s in the showcase?

Koenigsegg will be brandishing their astonishing 249mph Agera from the firms current line-up, along with the equally extreme CCX. Joining the hyper car giant, Pagani will be lining up their Huayra next to its predecessor, the striking Zonda.

TVR will be prominent on the stand as well, with the all-new Griffith designed by esteemed designer Gordon Murray joining the fray, having continuously wowed the public since its unveiling last year. The company’s original 60s Griffith will be joining its modern day ancestor to demonstrate the provenance of the British brand.

Several more mainstream manufacturers join the specialists, including Ford with their technological marvel, the all-new GT. The company’s previous homage to the GT40 Le Mans winner will also share the spotlight.

Honda will bring two generations of the radical NSX, known for Ayrton Senna’s involvement with the development process. Lexus will follow suit with their latest LC500 in addition to the F1 inspired LF-A from the turn of the last decade.

Visitors on Saturday will be treated to an unmissable 3D supercar experience, with the intoxicating line-up being fired up for a memorable parade lap of the full Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.
