Simply Aston Martin to open events season at Beaulieu

Over 300 cars are expected to gather at the Simply Aston Martin display at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, Hampshire, UK in April, with a scale model of the brand’s new powerboat featuring as well.

It will be the first event of its type at the Beaulieu estate this season and will take place on Sunday April 8.

This year marks the third time the popular rally has run in the grounds of the National Motor Museum.

Quintessence Yachts will display a scale model of the new AM37 powerboat – built as Aston Martin looks to expand increasingly into the leisure market. The boat manufacturer’s team will talk about its new addition to the Aston Martin line-up.

Red 10, the last of ten specially-built Vanquish S coupes built in tribute to the Red Arrows Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, will also be on display. The car features the Red Arrows squadron crest on its bodywork and was raffled in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund.

At Simply Aston Martin last year models including the original DB1 from the late 1940s through to the current range, including the DB11, all attended.

Beaulieu is billing the rally as: ‘A chance for Aston Martin owners to join the display with their cherished machines and chat with like-minded enthusiasts, while enjoying all the features of one of the south’s leading visitor attractions.’

During the day, participants and visitors can vote for their favourite Aston Martin of the show in the People’s Choice Award.

The £12 admission tickets include entrance to all of the Beaulieu attractions, including the National Motor Museum and its collection of more than 250 vehicles, the World of Top Gear and On Screen Cars.

Simply Aston Martin is one of nine Simply rallies at Beaulieu this year. New for 2018 is Simply Audi on 29th April, while favourites Simply Ford, Simply Porsche, Simply VW, Simply Land Rover, Simply Jaguar, Simply Japanese and Simply Smart will all be returning.
