New Liberty Walk Aventador to be unveiled at Autosport

Renowned customisers will launch a new Lamborghini Aventador – and it will be joined by other new supercars at Autosport International

Liberty Walk EU will unveil a never-seen-before Lamborghini Aventador at this month’s Autosport International, debuting on the Motor1.com stand at the Performance Car Show.

The Motor1.com – AutoClassics’ sister title – stand will also feature the 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, Jaguar XE SV Project 8, Porsche 991.2 GT3 and McLaren 570S GT4.

Supercar tuner Liberty Walk is renowned for its wide-body conversions and dramatic design. A new specially-commissioned 2018 model Aventador will be unveiled at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre during the January 11-14 exhibition and joins a bespoke Liberty Walk Ford Mustang on display.

Making its UK debut on the Motor1.com feature is the 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. It is a development on last year's series-winning race car which is built for customer sports competition. The GTI TCR is for track use only and is powered by a 2.0-litre race-prepared turbocharged engine. Its appearance precedes the inaugural 2018 season of the TCR UK championship.

Also on display will be the Jaguar XE SV Project 8. Developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s in-house Special Vehicle Operations division – responsible for the Range Rover Sport SVR, Jaguar F-Type-based Project 7 and Land Rover Defender that starred in the James Bond film Spectre – it is the most powerful road-legal Jaguar ever built. Its production will be limited to no more than 300 units. The handbuilt car produces 592bhp from a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 and as a result has been crowned the fastest production-specification saloon car to ever lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The Porsche 991.2 GT3, with its 493 bhp race-derived 4.0-litre engine borrowed from a Porsche Cup car, features also alongside a McLaren 570s GT4. The GT4-spec aero package includes a large rear wing for increased levels of downforce along with a sculpted front bumper and large front splitter.

The critically acclaimed BAC Mono and visually modified URBAN Automotive Velar are also confirmed.
