New Audi show confirmed for Beaulieu
A new bespoke rally dedicated to Audi models past and present is to be held at the National Motor Museum on April 29, 2018
After the roaring success of the record-breaking Simply season, Beaulieu has announced a new event: Simply Audi, which is set to take place on Sunday April 29.
Celebrating one of the most popular automotive brands to capture the aspiration of petrolheads worldwide, the rally will be open to anyone who owns, drives or enjoys all things Audi, regardless of age or model of car.
Enthusiasts of German engineering can enjoy a huge display within the National Motor Museum’s stunning grounds, featuring such delights as the original Quattro and TT. You can also expect to see immaculate examples of the popular A3, A4 and off-road Q models – not to mention the sporting RS. All were built to reflect the brand’s ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ mantra.
You can also head inside the museum for a showcase of Audi’s most iconic models, including the legendary 1983 Quattro A2 rally car driven to victory in numerous international events by motorsport pros Stig Blomqvist, Hannu Mikkola and John Bosch.
It doesn’t matter whether your Audi is a family project, showroom pony or heritage machine dating back to the days of Germany’s Auto Union – it will be welcomed with open arms. There will be no better excuse in 2018 to park up somewhere historic to chat with like-minded owners and compare cars.
Throughout the day, participants and visitors to Beaulieu can vote for their favourite Audi of the show, with the People’s Choice Award. The winner will receive a trophy before leading a cavalcade throughout the event’s grounds.
Admission tickets include entry to all of the Beaulieu attractions and its collection of 250 vehicles, including World of Top Gear and On Screen Cars. Entry is from 9am for rally participants.
For those driving Audis into Beaulieu to take part in the show, participant tickets are £10 per adult, £5 per child (aged 5-16) if bought in advance online, or £12 per adult and £6 per child on the door.
