Morgan and Pashley team-up to make retro bikes
Pashley is the oldest surviving bike manufacturer in the UK, just like Morgan is for cars. Together they have designed some beautiful push-bikes inspired by the past
The Morgan Motor Company is the longest established and surviving car manufacturer in the UK. A living piece of history, the marque’s traditional manufacturing methods and classic styling make them truly unique in the world of modern cars. Morgan is again looking to the past for inspiration with a new retro bike partnership with Pashley.

Similar to Morgan, Pashley is the longest established and surviving push-bike manufacturer in the UK — so it’s a match made in heaven. Both design teams worked together to create this handsome pair of bikes that, just like the Morgan cars, are hand-crafted.
If you speak cycling enthusiast, each features Reynolds 631 tubing and has a custom formed top tube, frame mounted race plate, S-bend seat stays and bespoke track ends with etched stainless faces. For those who aren’t fluent in bike, it results in a pretty frame and a distinctive bike. You can choose from two models, the Pashley-Morgan 8 or Pashley-Morgan 3.
The 8 harks back to Morgan’s racing heritage with a subtle motorsport-inspired livery applied to its pearl grey paint. Hand-stitched leather grips are contrasted by aluminium end caps for a premium look. A nice touch is that the mudguard and chainguard are crafted from wood.
If you opt for the Pashley-Morgan 3, our favourite of the pair, you get a bike finished in traditional British Racing Green and detailed with honey leather grips. A walnut laminated wood veneer short mudguard and matching chainguard makes this a sophisticated design. This model also features a dynamo that powers a front headlamp as you cycle along.
Sadly, these beautiful bikes don’t come cheap. The Pashley-Morgan 8 will set you back £1,595 and the Pashley-Morgan 3 £1,495. Each can be ordered from Morgan’s website, a dealership and selected Pashley Cycles outlets.
