Lister unveils plans to make fastest SUV in the world
Only a month after revealing its first modern road car, Lister is launching a second vehicle – and it's hoping it will become the fastest SUV ever built
Famed Jaguar tuner Lister is aiming to build the fastest production SUV ever, announcing its new LFP model which uses a Jaguar F-Pace as its base.
In July, Lister revealed its Jaguar F-type based LFT-666 coupe, its first new road car in decades, and its most powerful at 666bhp. Their new LFP is set to go a step further, with a power output of 670bhp quoted.

The estimated 0-60mph time for its latest creation is just 3.5 seconds and, with a predicted top speed of 200mph, it will be the fastest SUV ever made. This is supercar territory levels of performance.
Set for full release in the coming weeks, and with first customer deliveries set for October, the LFP will likely follow the success of the LFT-666 coupe, which quickly became the fastest-selling model in the brand's history.
Early prospective customer interest in the Lister LFP is already considerable, prompting Lister to open its order book ahead of the official reveal of the car. Price are set to begin at around £140,000, with the base model set to include extensive carbon fibre modifications. Final specifications will likely be announced at the reveal.
