Five major awards on offer at Land Rover Legends next week

Just one week to go until the first ever Land Rover show at Bicester Heritage! And now the final award categories and nominations have been announced

As hundreds of Land Rovers prepare to descend on Bicester Heritage next weekend for the first-ever Land Rover Legends show, organisers have announced that five categories of national award will be handed out to Land Rover vehicles during the event.

The new show, which launches in the same year that Land Rover celebrates 70 years of vehicle manufacture, has been designed to showcase the inspiration, models and heritage that combine to make Land Rover such an exemplary brand for so many.

Catering for connoisseurs, collectors, preservationists, restorers and enthusiasts alike, the grounds of Bicester Heritage will come alive with original, renovated and restored Land Rovers from the 1948 Series 1 through to the very latest models. The event will also encompass rare prototype and pre-production models, military derivatives as well as rare and bespoke conversions.

In total, five national awards will be handed out at the show...

Footman James Land Rover Legends Award

The first is the Footman James Land Rover Legends Award, supported by the aforementioned classic car insurer and presented to the vehicle and story nominated by a public vote as that which best represents the true essence of the iconic marque.
