Kevin Hart has bought classic muscle cars for his tour crew
To thank his backstage crew after his latest tour wrapped, Kevin Hart gave them $500,000 worth of classic cars
Famous comedian Kevin Hart wanted to thank his backstage crew as his latest Irresponsible Tour wrapped last week, and did so by giving them each a classic muscle car. The eight members of the team were told by Kevin that he was going to do something, but gifting them with a collection of muscle cars was quite the surprise as he took to Instagram on Saturday December 29, 2018 to share his good deed.
'So the tour is over, and I told my guys I was going to do something special for them. They had no idea what it was. I just surprised my whole team with old- schools,' Kevin said on his Instagram story.

'I mean it when I say I love my team. I would not be where I am or who I am today if it wasn’t for my team. We’re celebrating, and I love the fact that they’re gone,' Hart said jokingly. 'They’re blown away, and for me, that’s all I needed. Nothing else.'
According to a source at Page Six, Hart spent as much as $500,000 on the collection. In the video, you can see a Chevrolet Corvette C3, Ford Mustang, two Pontiac GTOs, a Chevy Chevelle SS pair, a first-generation Camaro and a classic VW Beetle. All of the cars are in pristine condition, so it’s easy to believe the half-a-million price tag, especially when you take into consideration any broker fees and delivery charges it took to get the cars to the lot for the surprise.
Now that his crew all have classics, they’ve decided to start a car club called the Plastic Cup Boyz Car Club'.
'Yup…We are officially getting a old…Me & my guys started a car club. We are the 'Plastic Cup Boyz Car Club'….we are getting jackets and hats and gloves with no finger tips….Old man fun. We drink coffee and talk cars on Sundays.'
The recent Irresponsible Tour is one of several Hart has headlined in recent years, and also had hit albums and acting roles under his belt. Men’s Health broke down what all these gigs add up to, and estimate that Hart is worth about $120 million.
