Now Jaguar Land Rover Classic is moving into the USA!
Following the success of the UK and Germany 'Works' centres, Jaguar Land Rover Classic is set to build its first North American HQ, in Georgia, Savannah
Jaguar Land Rover Classic is to open new premises in Savannah, Georgia, USA, its first base outside Europe, following the successful launch of its Works centres in the UK and Germany.
The new North America HQ is scheduled to open in summer 2019, and will cover sales, servicing and restoration for classic Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles out of production for ten years or more – just as the UK and German operations do currently.
The building will cover 75,000 square feet, including a state-of-the-art 42-bay workshop and a purpose-built showroom.

The first of the Jaguar Land Rover Classic centres, on the outskirts of Coventry, UK, was opened in July 2017, and has been a great success for the company. This is where the D-type and XKSS continuation cars have been put together, and is also home to the over-subscribed Land Rover Defender Works V8s.
The second centre opened in Essen-Kettwig, Germany in May 2018, and is seeing similar growth. Although not confirmed by Jaguar Land Rover, we would speculate that if the new centre in Georgia is a success, then a USA West Coast operation would follow – though real estate and labor costs would be higher, so Georgia would be likely to remain the focus for restoration and rebuild work.
Tim Hannig, Jaguar Land Rover Classic director, commented: 'Creating a dedicated facility in the US – one of the largest markets for classic car enthusiasts – is an important and exciting step for Jaguar Land Rover Classic. We’re delighted to bring the future-proofing classic expertise and support we’ve nurtured in the UK direct to US clients.
'The Savannah site is the perfect location for us: a charming setting combining a passionate community and excellent transport links that will make it easier for US clients to benefit from the authentic services and expertise Jaguar Land Rover Classic provides.'
