Jaguar Land Rover Classic has opened a brand-new Classic Centre in Essen, Germany – the first facility of its kind outside the UK. It's directly operated by Jaguar Land Rover Classic, to provide factory-level service in Germany.
The new 4500 sq m Jaguar Land Rover Classic Centre Germany at Essen Kettwig is overseen by Dr Ralf Klasen, head of Jaguar Land Rover Classic Germany. It follows the same format as the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works in Coventry, UK, which opened in June 2017, offering owners and enthusiasts a wide range of authentic Jaguar and Land Rover classic cars, services, parts and experiences.

Jaguar Land Rover Classic Director, Tim Hannig, said: 'The opening of Classic Works in Coventry last year gave our team the opportunity to deliver world-class vehicle services to a rapidly-increasing number of enthusiasts.
'As the most mature classic car market in Europe, Germany is the logical first step for the global expansion of Jaguar Land Rover Classic. This new site gives us an excellent platform to cater for the needs of classic Jaguar and Land Rover owners on the continent.'
Classic Works-inspired workshop facilities enable comprehensive vehicle health checks, servicing and repairs – including engine rebuilds. Secure storage for clients’ cars is also offered, including maintenance to ensure that the cars are always ready to drive.
Both the UK and German sites are also now offering pre-owned 'Works Legends' classic Jaguars and Land Rovers for sale, ranging from usable daily drivers to concours-standard show cars, or rare vehicles with unique historical significance. All have to pass a 125-point healthcheck and are sold with a manufacturer-backed 12-month warranty.
The company is also introducing a new online service to support the Works Legends cars for sale at www.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/workslegends.
