Osian Pryce will bid to repeat his recent Red Kite victory by tackling the historic section of Sunday’s Harry Flatters Rally on Epynt.

In his third rally of the year in a Ford Escort Mk2, the WRC aspirant will switch to the asphalt specification car of Grant Shand at RallyXtreme.

'I wasn’t going to do it, but it was another twist my arm type thing. I wasn’t going to do anymore in the Escort, but Grant’s got his own car. I said to him: "People have been telling me to do the Flatters," and he said: "I’ve got the car for you and you’re worthy of a drive in it".

'It’s still a historic car but is lighter and more powerful than the gravel car. It’s enjoyable and it’s getting me out there,' said Pryce who has only limited experience of the Epynt ranges.
