CSR Racing 2 is a racing game for smartphones that sees its players tune and modify a wide variety of cars in order to win. This new update adds 15 new ‘legendary’ classic cars that all require a little bit of TLC before running at their best. Through a steady series of upgrades you can turn these icons from rusty shells to concours-quality machines.
It’s an impressive roster ,with the game’s creators calling the new additions the 'most game-changing in history'. The cars in question include an Aston Martin DB5, Bugatti EB110 Super Sport, Plymouth HEMI Cuda, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ford Mustang Boss 302, Chevrolet Corvette (C3) ZR1, Pontiac GTO “The Judge”, Honda NSX-R, Jaguar XJ220, Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 Quattrovalvole, McLaren F1, Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé, Porsche Carrera GT, Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, and a Ford GT40 MKII.
Video games have come a long way from the days of arcade machines and the original PlayStation, with each of the vehicles realistically modelled despite the game only being available on Android and iOS mobile devices. Each model has been given realistic details, with a game mode in CSR that allows you to walk around the car. Intricate reflections and shadows further add to the realism.
As well as adding 15 new classic restoration cars to the game, CSR Racing 2 also gains a new track with this update. Dubbed ‘LA Storm Drain’, it's a recreation of the concrete landscape that has featured in many car movie scenes such as Ryan Gosling’s Drive and the cult-classic Grease.
