Bugatti Chiron to take on Prescott Hill Climb

A Bugatti Chiron is set to undertake several runs up the famous Prescott hillclimb as part of the La Vie en Bleu incorporating La Vita Rossa, a celebration of French and Italian cars.

Set for May 26-27, the event will feature a 1479bhp Chiron on the track with a Veyron Supersport and Pur Sang, and a 1990s EB110, also completing the course over the weekend, at the famous Prescott venue – the home of the Bugatti Owners’ Club – near Cheltenham, UK.

Italian marques will be well represented too, with the Ferrari Owners Club supporting the event.

Of note, Duncan Pittaway will demonstrate the 1911 Fiat S76 land speed record contender 'Beast of Turin'. The 28.5-litre Fiat S76 engine produces approximately 300bhp and has been enormously popular at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in recent years.

Fans of British racers will be treated to a special class for ERA voiturettes, which includes the iconic ex-Raymond Mays R4D; the most celebrated chassis in the marque's history and for the first time an ERA E-Type.

Renowned car collector and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason said: ‘The event is quintessentially British – a mini Goodwood Festival of Speed set in the glorious Cotswolds. It’s club motorsport at its best, where visitors can mingle with the cars, speak to the drivers, and watch rare historic vehicles to modern day supercars being pushed to their limits.’

Tickets cost from £15 per day with children under 16-years-old able to go free. You can book here.
