The £1.9 million, 261mph Chiron will be joined by its Veyron and EB110 forerunners on the famous hillclimb with Italian marque's celebrated too courtesy of some high profile owners
A £1.9 million Bugatti Chiron will complete runs up the famous Prescott Hill Climb as part of the 12th annual La Vie en Bleu pageant of French motoring excellence.
Across May 26/27, the home of the Bugatti Owners’ Club will celebrate the French and Italian automotive industry. With the weekend led by car number one of the 500 Chirons to be built, the 8-litre W16 -engined car produces 1479bhp and will run on to a top speed of 261mph. Joining the Chiron on the hillclimb will be a Veyron Supersport – formerly the world’s fastest production car – and limited edition Pur Sang Veyron. The 1990s EB110 will also feature.

Italian marques will be well represented too, with the Ferrari Owners Club supporting the event. Most notably the company’s hybrid flagship LaFerrari will be on site plus a unique Ferrari 488 70th Anniversary Special Edition.
Renowned car collector and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason will display his 1959 Maserati Tipo 61 ‘Birdcage’ – so called because of the 200 welded tubes that formed its chassis – and a Lamborghini Miura formerly owned by ex-Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone will join also.
Of note, Duncan Pittaway will demonstrate the 1911 Fiat S76 land speed record contender 'Beast of Turin'. The 28.5-litre Fiat S76 engine produces approximately 300bhp and has been enormously popular at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in recent years.
Fans of British racers will be treated to a special class for ERA voiturettes, which includes the iconic ex-Raymond Mays R4D; the most celebrated chassis in the marque's history and for the first time an ERA E-Type.
Mason said: "The event is quintessentially British – a mini Goodwood Festival of Speed set in the glorious Cotswolds. It’s club motorsport at its best, where visitors can mingle with the cars, speak to the drivers, and watch rare historic vehicles to modern day supercars being pushed to their limits."
Tickets cost from £15 per day with children under 16-years-old able to go free. You can book here.
