This 966hp carbon fibre Dodge Charger is pure evil

The SEMA show in Las Vegas, USA is a fantastic opportunity for the tuners of the world to show of what they can really do. Feast your eyes on this sinister looking Charger, complete with lightweight naked carbon skin. Due to the unrelenting values of Dodge Chargers, SpeedKore Performance has taken it upon itself to build its own framework and roll cage for the new carbon body to sit on.
It’s identical to a 1970 Charger but the whole build only weighs 1,451kg when fuelled and ready to go. The only external parts of this car that aren’t made of carbon fibre is the fuel filler cap, door handles, and alloy wheels. Said wheels are shod in sticky Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber.
Under the bonnet is a supercharged V8 engine pinched from a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and then modified. New pulleys, cold air-intake, stainless steel exhaust, fuel injectors, dry sump, oil cooler, and custom ECU tuning makes this engine even more potent.
A Demon has 840hp as standard but this Charger Evolution has boosted the V8's output to 966bhp. Power is sent through to the rear wheels via a Tremec six-speed manual transmission.
While all of this power is impressive, attention has also been paid to the braking system and suspension. Brembo six-piston GT front calipers and four-piston rears take care of stopping power — all equipped with 15-inch drilled and vented discs. Car composure is the responsibility of Penske 7500-series double adjustable coil-overs.
This is one mean machine that fuses iconic muscle car looks with modern-day performance.

With dramatic "fuselage" styling, a great-running 340 under the hood (you know, the same one they used in the Challenger T/A), and a bucket seat interior, it's easy to make the argument that this nicely restored car has earned its muscle car stripes. Any Mopar draped in dram
