Villa d’Este 2019 dates announced with 3 new classes

Keep May 24-26 2019 free as you won’t want to miss this instalment of the famed concours that celebrates it’s 90th year. Three new categories have been added to the event which are sure to attract plenty of star cars.

‘Daring to Dream: Concepts which rocked the motoring world’ sounds particularly exciting as it’ll temp some of the most iconic show cars from history out of hiding. ‘Baby you can Drive my Car: Singing star’s cars’ will likely draw some impressive celebrity vehicles – we're hoping for the Ford Thunderbird of Marilyn Monroe.

Finally, ‘Goodbye Roaring Twenties: Class of 1929’ will be a celebration of the final year in a decade of extravagant motoring. The event always attracts some of the rarest and most valuable cars on Earth, but these new categories present plenty of opportunity for lesser seen icons to participate.

Also celebrating its 90th anniversary will be BMW which launched its first series production model, the 3/15 PS, in 1929. BMW has jointly organised Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este since 2005 and will no doubt use this opportunity to showcase some of its most iconic models.
