The Goodwood Revival is a central part of the UK’s historic racing calendar and is the only historic race meeting in the world that is staged entirely in period theme. This year’s event, taking place on September 7 to 9, celebrates the Revival’s 20th anniversary, with the first Revival having taken place in 1998.
The Hagerty Renaissance Meeting organisers are encouraging attendees in Bicester to dress in period clothing so to stay in keeping with the setting and atmosphere of the Revival itself.
Official Revival race cards and programmes will be available to buy at the live screening and the event also will be raising funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund, Goodwood’s chosen charity for this year’s Revival.
There will be an event hub on site around Bicester Heritage's Motor Transport Yard and Main Drive, and a select number of traders and caterers will also be present. Guests will be encouraged to explore the historic Bicester Heritage site during their visit.
Bicester Heritage in Oxfordshire is based at a 348 acre former WW2 RAF Bomber Training Station and is the UK’s only hub for historic motoring. Founded in 2013 Bicester Heritage is home to over 30 specialist businesses.
