We have for sale this great 1969 Porsche 911T long wheel base Coupe. Chassis number 119121761, engine number 6196039, transmission number 7194509, colour is Tangerine 6809, all numbers match the Certificate of Authenticity. The body was completely stripped to bare metal along with all removable panels, metal work replaced includes, the complete floor, inner rocker panel, outer sills and step panels, ‘A' pillars, front wing supports, N/S front wing, bonnet, N/S & O/S outer door skins. Repairs were carried out to the front floor to bulkhead section, N/S & O/S lower quarter panel sections and front fuel tank floor. All panel joins and gaps were lead loaded before the complete body was coated in zinc rich epoxy primer, the car was then repainted in its original colour of Tangerine (Blut orange), the finish is superb! All rubbers on the car have been renewed after paint. The underside and wheel housings have all been stripped to bare metal, it was then etch primed, all joints sealed and then coated with Wurth underbody rust protection. The genuine Fuchs wheels have been reconditioned, although not anodised, they have been painted and look very presentable. The interior is in great shape thanks to new `Auto`s International` front seat covers and complete perlon carpet set. The basket weave dash trim has been replaced along with the full headliner. The original engine has had a valve drop and compression test and showed no signs of any problems, the Weber 40 carburettors have been fully reconditioned, electronic ignition has been fitted and it has been recently serviced, it fires up effortlessly! The gearbox has had its oil changed and selects all gears smoothly.
