This beautiful 1973 MY Porsche 911 2.4 T/E Coupe - Chassis No: 9113100652 - Engine No: 6239108 was manufactured in Germany in October 1972 and first registered in Jacksonville, Florida, USA on the 18th December 1972. It has a Full Service History from new and comes with its original Porsche Maintenance Record Book, full ownership history from the USA and here and numerous invoices for works carried out from 1973 right through to the present day.
It is finished in its original colour scheme and specification of Helgelb Light Yellow with newly trimmed Black Recaro front Seats, 'S Pack, 2341cc Engine, 5 Speed Manual Gearbox, original Steering Wheel, 'Parrot' Telephone/Stereo, CAT 1 Alarm System and original Fuchs Alloy Wheels.
It was imported to the UK from Florida in March 1990 and registered here on 12th April 1990. The car spent time in both Sweden and France with its UK owner and there are invoices for all works undertaken during his ownership.
A completely rebuilt 'S' specification Engine was installed in the car in early 1997 by Neil Bainbridge of RSR Porsche but unfortunately there are no invoices relating to this only a large number of photographs of the stripped Engine and a Dynamometer test sheet showing that it produced 202 bhp and 174.8 lbs ft of torque upon testing.
The car has had 5 former keepers here in the UK with the current owner of 15 years having bought the car in July 2003.
He had the car completely stripped and rebuilt by Ricky Wass of RWR Porsche in 2010 and there is a fully documented and photographed history of this restoration with over 300 photographs including photo's of the Engine rebuild and in total, he has spent almost £40,000 on the car.
Since the restoration and Engine rebuild, the car has only covered around 3,000 miles and it is in exceptional condition throughout and drives superbly.
Upon sale the car will come with our own customer care package including a new MOT, pre-sales service and a 6 month mechanical warranty that can be extended and upgraded if required.
A fantastic car that can be enjoyed as well as being a good long term investment.
