Possibly the 23 was most successful Lotus sports racer ever. Tubular spaceframe chassis, all-round independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, lightweight bodywork, front / rear anti-roll bars, the main fore and aft tubes carrying oil & water between the nose-located radiators and mid-mounted engine – how advanced was this? Indeed, 400bhp per ton is realistic!

A real giant killer.

Application for FIA papers required, and should not be a challenge.

Entry for competitive historic racing is well within reach for the new owner at this level.
