California RS-SS with it's original black plate! Absolutely love the factory color combination. It is very, very rare and attractive. Great list of options. Ground up restored in 2010. We have bill of sale from 1974 and years of registrations. The registrations prove that license plate is for that car. That's pretty cool.
EXTERIOR: Factory correct code 69 Cortez silver has a silky smooth finish. It's a Los Angeles built car and lived in California most of its life. The body is in excellent condition. It is straight, has proper gaps and mostly original panels. The left 1/4 panel was replaced with at factory seams with a full GM panel. Hockey stick stripe is painted correctly. Jambs are shiny, weatherstrips and window fuzzies are replaced. All the trim and bright work looks new. This car has the exterior trim package which includes rain gutter and wheel well trim and chrome 1/4 louvers. Has spoilers too. The halo vinyl top is excellent. All the glass is original is very good shape. Of course it is a Rally Sport too. The reverse lights are below the bumper and the hideaway headlight doors do work. SS wheels are repainted correctly, have new trim and new BFG tires.
INTERIOR: Factory code 729 white houndstooth deluxe interior. Overall in very good condition. Has factory gauges in the console and factory tachometer in the dash. Has Am-Fm stereo with aux jack in ashtray and 4 speakers in factory locations. Everything works properly- interior lights, key buzzer, dash lights all gauges including the clock. Dash area is clean, not cut up or beat up. Has rosewood trim. Headliner and visors are excellent. Molded door panels have no cracks. All of the white is bright. The GM seatbelts are excellent.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has a built 350, it runs strong. Has 4 bolt mains, forged pistons, Dart angle plug heads, roller rockers, Comp thumper cam, Street Dominator intake and a 750 Holley on top. Has electronic ignition curved to this motor. Really, this motor sounds tough and scoots real well. 4 row radiator keeps it cool. Has proper shroud, cadmium plated brake booster, spring clamp battery cables, washer bottle etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Super clean, original metal with a nice coat of spatter paint. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted real slick.
UNDERSIDE: Super clean original metal. The floors, wheel wells, drop downs etc are clean. A set of coated headers feed a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The #s match turbo 350 rear is rebuilt. The original 12 rear end has upgraded 3.55 gears. Steering, brakes and alignment were just inspected. Has disc in front, e-brake is functional. Front and rear shocks and springs were replaced. New front end and body bushings. The underside has been cleaned and looks impressive.
I personally know the previous owner. He is a straight shooter, only owns quality cars and always sells them better then he bought them. He has put over 1,000 miles on this car, all trouble free and enjoyable. This is one good looking Camaro, refreshing because of the rare colors. Very desirable car!
