Overview

Here is my 1972 Mercedes Benz 280 S. The car is black with red interior. It is LHD with manual column change. It is a one owner car from 1971 until 2015 when unfortunately the Belgium owner passed away. A Mercedes enthusiast imported the car into the UK and I subsequently bought the car in 2015. The car has been maintained regardless of cost with either Mercedes service history or specialist. I have the original bill of sale, all handbooks, a vast array of invoices and service records. The car has covered 99,000km. The car has been magazine featured (have a copy) and is in concourse condition. I have period gloves, first aid kit, newspaper on the day of purchase etc. Since my ownership I have have gone through the car and replaced many serviceable parts including: Engine fuel lines Oil, air and fuel filters Water pump All belts All hoses Plugs, points etc Head and rocker cover Gaskets Complete stainless steel exhaust All this has been done with genuine Mercedes parts (all receipts) costing thousands of pounds and specialist fitting. There is zero rust on this car, either on the body or underneath. The underside has been treated to Bilt Hammer UB treatment. The engine bay is fully detailed, clips etc zinc plated, internal parts detailed etc. I have photos of all work undertaken. There are no dents or parking dings. Everything works mechanically and it drives without fault.
