Jaguars have always been a special kind of luxury car. They wrap you in sumptuous leather and beautiful wood. They inspire confidence with their handling whether its driving through traffic or sporting down a country road. They have comfortable accommodations for several passenger and plenty of space in the trunk for luggage, golf clubs, or anything else you need to carry. Check out this beautiful XJ Vanden Plas edition and see what we mean.
The long lean lines of this cat are dressed in a shade of blue/gray called Zircon Metallic. It's the original paint with a nice shine to it that reflects the light off its smooth curves as it moves down the street. Up front there is the iconic leaping Jaguar on the hood with a growling Jag badge just below it on the chrome grill. The front end of the car looks like it was sculpted by the wind with lines running up the center of the hood and valleys carved out starting at the headlights running back. The windshield rakes back steeply to cut through the air smoothly and extends on back creating plenty of quite comfortable space for you and your passengers. The door handles blend into the upper body crease and there are protective body side moldings along the midline. A splash of chrome dresses out the bumper and the trunk lid along with a Vanden Plas edition badge.
While the styling of a Jag makes a statement, the interior is where you will spend your time. Open the door and get ready to experience true luxury with the premium Vanden Plas treatment on full display in this interior. It is a two-tone treatment of tan leather seats with brown piping, cream carpets, and burled wood accents. The burled wood graces the dash board, console, door panels, and even the drop-down panels on the back of the front seats for your back-seat passengers. Now that's luxury! Settle in to the comfortable, leather, power seat and make yourself comfortable. It's like sitting in an office with a nice desk and shelving, but this office has a wood and leather steering wheel too. There is power everything with climate control and a nice stereo for your listening pleasure. The controls are clearly labeled with easy to operate switches. You will be traveling in the lap of luxury with plenty of room in the trunk for whatever you care to bring with you.
The engine and drivetrain on this car will be quietly going about its business while you are traveling so that you can enjoy all that luxury. There is a 4.2-liter V8 engine that is powerful and smooth quietly getting the job done without a lot of drama. Pop the hood, (which hinges at the front in traditional Jaguar fashion), and you will find that everything is neat and clean in the engine bay. The power that V8 makes is sent back through a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive to the rear wheels. There are power four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes that inspire confidence and power rack and pinion steering working in conjunction with a fully independent suspension for a smooth ride on the highway and that legendary Jaguar handling on the backroads. You can head out on holiday with confidence, in luxury, and just enjoy the ride.
Come on down and check out this beautiful Vanden Plas XJ. You may decide that this is the car you want to spend some time driving.

If you grew up at a certain time, you remember trucks like this 1987 GMC K-10 4x4 pickup everywhere. What you don't remember is any that were this nice, and someone has taken exceptionally good care of this handsome truck to make it one of the very nicest original 4x4s we've ever seen. Very nicely preserved in its original bright red paint, this truck is a lot more contemporary-looking
A great coordinated color theme, iconic big block power, and some nice upgrades (like an overdrive transmission) come together to make this 1961 Chevrolet Impala a very cool cruiser. Yes, this is the iconic and rare bubble top Impala. While all are considered desirable because this was only offered for a few short years, the 1961 coupe is arguably the best of the bunch. That skinny c
