Three years after the 993 was released a new variant was introduced in the shape of the targa, a tradition that Porsche have adhered to since the early 70's. Differing from the early targas the 993 was fitted with a retractable glass roof and shade to prevent any greenhouse effect. This system was a complete redesign, as previous models had a removable roof section and a wide B-pillar functioning as a roll bar. This new concept allowed the targa variant to retain the classic side-on profile of the coupe whilst providing an exhilarating open topped driving experience on those days that allow you to!
This fine example has covered only 62,908 miles from new, complimented by a full Porsche/Specialist service history with 18 stamps in the book. Finished in the striking Arena Red Metallic, paint code L84S. This 993 Targa was originally supplied new by Dick Lovett in Swindon on the 2nd of December 1996.
It is still in lovely condition today and as with all our cars will be suppplied fully prepared and warranted for total piece of mind.
